Digipak research

Digipaks is made out of cardstock, making them eco-friendly. They can have 4,6, or 8 panels and hold up to seven discs. Which allows for more artwork and information.

    Our ideas: Electric Gypsies is a five member band. Which includes a singer, drummer and guitarists. Yet, each of the band members have something that characterize them. For example, one of the guitarists always wears glasses when he plays. Once you see someone playing with glasses, I instantly know that is Caio.
    The following pictures are headshots of the band members. 

In the following week, I will either try to draw an outline of the face or use some kind of filter that makes their faces look as if they were digitally drawn. Once we do this, Mariana and I were thinking of using those outlines to create the artwork for the digipak. Our inspiration was the picture below. We want to create a digipak where each individual member is distinctive and present. The following merchandise is from another band called Castafellas, whom began in my school and now have a fanbase and original music. 

All in all, I will let you guys know the progress of our digipak artwork.
