In the making...
Hey guys! Unfortunately, my partner is leaving and will be out of the country this week. But no worries, we will still work on our project. As a matter of fact, we are already making progress. So we started working in the digipak component. We began in creating the cover for the digipak. We used the application, Pages, to create the cover. We decided to use the colors black, red, and white. It matches with the logo and also the band's brand. Below are some of the covers we made.
As it can be seen, the cover has a very simple look. Our goal is to create a modern cover that fits the band's vibe. All the covers have the band's name and the edited picture we created. For the picture of them five, we used the members' headshot, edited the picture, convert it to a png, and put the pictures together. To edit the pictures we used the Mac's built-in editing software that the Preview application offers. To convert the picture into a png, we used the application MagicEraser. BEST APP OUT THERE! Personally, I used that app for my magazine and I used it for this project as well. It is an amazing app, as I have complete control of my pictures. And lastly, we used Pages to put all the pieces together.
Since we now have some options for our cover, we need to decide which one we liked the best. Once we do that, we will be able to create the back and inside of the digipak. Which you will see in the next blog!!! Excitement :)
