Photoshoot Location
Mariana and I have been brainstorming places that could fit the vibe of the band to take pictures of. As a result, we decided to take pictures in Pembroke Gardens mall. This is an outside mall with a lot of restaurants and stores. It is very aesthetic and there could be some walls that we could use as the background. The mall is outside so there will be natural light. Making the pictures look better as we will not have to worry too much about the lightning.
We chose this location especially because there is this really cool restaurant, Fuddruckers. The restaurant is very 80s and decorated with a lot pictures and booths. Also, there are different stores that we could play around with and try to shoot some nice pictures.
Another reason as to why we chose this location is because it is relatively close. Since we are trying to accommodate 5 band members plus Mariana and myself, we needed to choose a location that was accessible and close to everyone.
We were planning on filming the actual video on Sunday but it seems as if it is going to rain. Therefore, we are going to change our plans and do the photoshoot instead. We were planning on filming in a park but we did not wanted to risk it because of the instruments. At least in the photoshoot, the band does not need to bring the entire set up.
The goal on Sunday is to take a lot of pictures that will be usable for the website and digipak. This way, we can start working on that portion of the promotion package.
