How to shoot a rock band
Hello! I am back with more research… So I researched tips in how to photograph a band or photograph more than 3 people. This is what I found out:
-Use natural light
-Split the frame into thirds to position the band members
-Make sure the band is relax, as it will create better pictures
-Patience is key
-The background should be simple, so the group shot does not end up looking messy.
-Use a tripod to take a number of shots at the same angle and focal length
-Vary the head heights
-Bands should have the same moods (all smiling, all serious etc…)
-Arrange the group members so that if lines were drawn between their head, there will be little triangles everywhere.
-Snap multiple pictures
-Pose the subjects on uneven footing (stairs)
-Keep the subjects close together
